The BASI™ includes six timed subtests with a total test time of 115 minutes for the complete battery of tests administered to individuals age 8 to age 80:

• Vocabulary (10 minutes)
• Spelling (10 minutes)
• Language Mechanics (10 minutes)
• Reading Comprehension (30 minutes)
• Math Computation (20 minutes)
• Math Application (35 minutes)

Each of the above subtests can be administered independently or in any combination. Total test administration is just under 2-hours. The subtests also can be administered untimed to yield criterion-referenced performance information.

Reports Provided

Adult Summary Report - a one-page report that summarizes an adult's performance by skills composite, subtest, and learning objectives.

Student Summary Report - a one-page report that summarizes the student's performance by skills composit, subtest, and learning objectives. A parent's report is included with each student report. The parent's report graphs percentile scores and includes a space for written comments.

The Test will be administered only in a proctored, professional setting. BRAVA, the test administrator, will take necessary steps to ensure the Test is never administered in an unproctored, unsecure, environment. The test can be taken in hard copy form or by computer, but not internet, with either BRAVA's hand scoring or BRAVA'S computer scoring.
