This design means that when ingested, the outer capsule contents of plant antimicrobials are released into the stomach, whereas teh inner capsule remains intact protecting the probiotic organisms from the antimicrobials.
Only when the inner probiotic capsule enters the duodenum does the inner capsule dissolve and release HLC LAB4 probiotic organisms.
