In addition to the tocopherol - free Annatto Tocotrienols (formerly called UltraTrienols), this formula now also includes the heavily researched polyphenol, resveratrol, along with Neptune Krill Oil. Krill oil has a unique biomolecular profile of phospholipids naturally rich in omega-3 fatty acids, EPA and DHA, and diverse antioxidants significantly different from the usual profile of fish oils.

This trio of healthful nutrients is a proprietary blend, being evaluated now on 30 patients in a double-blind placebo controlled study at the Hypertension Institute in Nashville, Tennessee, directed by Mark Houston MD, MSc, and funded by Designs for Health, Neptune Technologies, and American River Nutrition.The impact of this product on serum lipids (TC, LDL, HDL, TG), particle number and size, lipoprotein a and other metabolic parameters will be evaluated – the first study of its kind. All patients over the age of 50 will benefit from the protective effects of UltraTrienols Plus, especially smokers. For supporting healthy lipid levels, particularly cholesterol, try UltraTrienols Plus.

How to Take UltraTrienols Plus:
For best results, this product should be taken at night with dinner and away from tocopherol containing products such as Designs for Health Twice Daily Multi, DFH Complete Multi and High Gamma/Delta Vitamin E. According to a study performed by Bristol Myers Squibb, tocopherol vitamin E attenuates the effect of tocotrienols on cholesterol lowering. For best results, take 2 UltraTrienols Plus softgels every night with dinner in order to have an impact on the high diurnal synthesis of cholesterol. For an additive effect, take UltraTrienols Plus daily along with Foresterol, 1 with each meal daily.

Recommended Use
As a dietary supplement, take two softgels daily in the evening with food or as directed by your health care practitioner. For best results, do not take within six hours of taking a vitamin E supplement.
